"Just Make Yourself at Home"

After a busy day of sightseeing, it is wonderful to kick back and relax before dinner - just like you would at home.  Meet in the lounge with other guests for conversation, catch up on the news with the newspaper or TV, or listen to a variety of music.  Have a glass of wine, enjoy a beer, or relax with one of our complementary teas and a piece of Marleen's homemade pastry.  The deck is also available for you to relax in sun or shade, read a book, or enjoy the spectacular view.

Let us make your reservation for dinner at one of our fine restaurants.  Menus are provided so that you can make your choice in the comfort of our home.  We can also make reservations for you to see a play during the summer months at the Festival Antigonish theatre.  We hope our "down-home" Nova Scotia hospitality will make you feel just as comfortable with us as you would in your own home.

 "Such warm hospitality & true Easterner charm!" - S.C. & R.Z., Peterborough

"A Picture for Us, and One for You"

A special feature of our B & B is our yearly photo album.  From the beginning we have taken pictures of our guests, because you are like family. One for us in our guest album, and one for you as our special gift.  On departing you receive a beautiful 5X7 print as a reminder of your visit to Nova Scotia and your stay with us.

"Thank you so much for everything, it was a great pleasure to stay here.  All the best for the future."

"Great Breakfast, Great View"

Imagine relaxing over your morning "Tim Horton's" coffee (or choice of tea) while watching the eagles and herons make their morning run for food for their young.  Enjoy the smell of fresh mown hay, watch the neighbouring cows make their way down to the brook, or awaken to a spectacular sunrise.   All this and more will greet you as you await your morning breakfast served from 7 to 9 am.  The first to the table get the best view!

You begin with fresh juice and our famous fresh fruit bowl. People have been known to take Pictures!  Then enjoy your eggs served any style with our special local maple sausage; cooked to perfection.  Our bread is made with only the finest ingredients, just like grandma used to make.  We serve a selection of homemade breads which may include raisin, multigrain, brown, and white bread along with Marleen's delicious homemade jam.   A feast fit for a queen; no need for lunch.

"Thanks for a lovely stopover.  Gracious hospitality and a lovely breakfast!" - Bonnie and Bill, Duncan, BC
